2025 Spring Baseball Divisions & League Age Assignments

Players are recommended not to register to move up MORE THAN ONE (1) division from the prior Spring season. For example, if your player played Single-A in Spring 2024, they should register for no higher than double-AA for Spring 2025. Reminder: The division you register for may not be the same as the division you play in. All teams are formed via player draft, and a player may be drafted into ANY age-qualifying division.

SPRING SEASON ONLY: All players are expected to attend player evaluations if scheduled for their League Age (in the past, this has been League Ages 7-12), and they are not “property players.” Property Players only applies in the Major-division, and those players will receive an email from our Player Agent before player evaluations. A player evaluation allows managers to evaluate players and ensure they are drafted in a division appropriate for their skill level. We will hold player evaluations in mid-January (before practices start).

A player who "played up" during the Fall is not guaranteed to be drafted in the higher division the following Spring season, as all players are drafted by managers based on the Spring player evaluations.

Little League International establishes the League Age rules. To confirm your player's league age for the Spring 2025 season use Little League's League Age Calculator or use the League age chart below.

Per Little League Regulation II, beginning in Spring 2025, players League Age 4-7 may register in any Little League program (e.g., “League Choice”) without regard to any geography or school-related eligibility requirements.

All players League Age 8-16 must live OR go to school within our league boundaries and meet Residence and School Attendance Eligibility Requirements OR be the sibling of a player who is an activate participant league age seven (7) or younger (e.g., “League Choice” player) OR player who has participated in the league without a break in participation since League Age seven (7).

Please note, per Little League Regulation II, in future seasons, a player League Age 8-16 that gained eligibility through a sibling with League Choice (e.g., the sibling of a player League Age (7) and under OR the sibling of an active player in the league who has participated in the league without a break in participation since League Age seven (7)) will LOSE ELIGIBILITY if they do not maintain continuous and unbroken participation within the league and regular season play OR the sibling who initially gained eligibility under League Choice IS NOT AN ACTIVE PARTICIPANT. In simpler terms, an older sibling will lose playing eligibility if the younger (League Choice) sibling is no longer an active participant with OCLL.

IF A PLAYER DOES NOT QUALIFY BASED ON RESIDENCY ADDRESS, SCHOOL ENROLLMENT, OR LEAGUE CHOICE, YOUR REGISTRATION WILL BE CANCELLED AND REFUNDED.

ALL REGISTERED PLAYERS MUST attend one of our Document Reviews (dates to be determined) with a certified ORIGINAL copy of your child's birth certificate.

During Document Reviews, players who need to establish residency will be asked to provide three (3) proofs of residency: one from Group 1, Group 2, and Group 3. PLEASE MAKE SURE PROOF OF RESIDENCY DOCUMENTS ARE DATED BETWEEN FEBRUARY 1, 2024 AND FEBRUARY 1, 2025. If you live within our boundary, you do NOT need to provide any school enrollment form.

Uploading address verification documents during registration is OPTIONAL and does not satisfy the requirement to attend one of our Document Review nights. We host 3-4 document check nights before the season starts.

Players establishing eligibility by School Attendance (attending a school within our league boundary) must bring the School Enrollment Form (signed by School Administrator, Principal, or Vice Principal) to one of the Document Reviews. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PRESCHOOL OR HOMESCHOOL FORMS. The School Enrollment Form may be accessed at 

One of our largest fundraisers each year is our Spring Opening Day Raffle. We ask all players to sell a minimum of 10 raffle tickets (at $5.00 each), which families can sell or keep for themselves. We are collecting $50 per child UP FRONT for this year's raffle tickets fundraiser. Once you sell $50 in tickets, you would keep the $50 from the sales to "pay yourself back." Prepayment is capped at $100 per family. If you have more than two (2) players, please get in touch with us so we can cap at $100.

WAITLIST: If you see a division under "waitlist only" and would like your child to play in that division, be sure to join the waitlist. If a space becomes available, you will be notified via email. A spot on a team is not guaranteed.

The season runs from late February or early March through May. Practices will start in early February.

Fees cover the cost of the player's jersey, hat, umpire fees, field time (including field maintenance and lights, etc.

Our Spring 2025 Ground Rules have not been finalized; however, consideration is being given to players losing All-Star eligibility if they do not attend a scheduled player evaluation for their age (if adopted, it would be added to our Ground Rules and called out when we share additional details on dates). All teams are formed via a player draft, and players may be drafted into ANY age-qualifying division, which may be different than the division the player is registered for. We will hold player evaluations in mid-January (before practices start). Please watch your email for further details.
